Running parallel with Wigan Casino and many other northern soul nights, the Howard Mallett became a regular haunt for many rare soul fans in Cambridge during the mid seventies.
The pioneering work of the organisers helped put the club on the Northern Soul map and many memorable live acts appeared there including, J.J.Barnes, Johnny Johnsoin & The Bandwagon and Robert Knight.
Back in the 1970's The Howard Mallett Soul Club was the place to be in Cambridge for Northern Soul.

This annual event has become much looked forward to - a chance to hear all the sounds that were played at the time and a chance to catch up with old friends.

Tony Dellar, Max Rees and Roger Stearn really give the best of themselves for this event and get the floor rockin'.
